Youth

Our youth meet in two age groups at different times on Sunday but we appreciate that families may often need to come together to one service, particularly if you are new to St John's. We are happy to be flexible about age groups and would love to chat about helping young people to feel part of St John's.

Younger Youth (Year 6 to Year 9)

We start in with everyone at the 10.30am service every Sunday apart from the 1st Sunday of the month which is Big Church, our intergenerational service. After some sung worship we move to the Community Centre to meet for chat, fancy biscuits, games, exploring the Bible and getting to know each other. 

Older Youth (Year 9 up)

We meet during the 6.30pm service each Sunday. We start in the service, sitting together to the right of the stage, and stay for sung worship and prayers before moving to a separate space for cakes, snacks, games, Bible thoughts and chat. Some weeks we may stay for the whole service.

Our older youth midweek discipleship group meets twice a month.

We also have monthly socials for both youth groups together.
