Prayer 

The life of SJC is founded in prayer with so many stories of God answering prayer, inspiring and providing for the church and building our faith.

Morning Prayer

At 9am on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday everyone is welcome to join us in the chapel (within the main church building) for 30 minutes of prayer and reflection.

Kingdom Come

Our termly evening prayer gathering where we come together to pray for God's guidance, wisdom and to pray for any specific topical prayer needs. Check the term card for this terms Kingdom Come gathering. 

Sunday Prayer Ministry

At the end of most of our services there are members of the Prayer Team available to pray with anyone who would like them to do so. Members of the Prayer Team have received training in Prayer Ministry and Safeguarding. They can be identified by their Prayer Team badges and usually gather at the front left side of the worship area. Listen for information at the end of the service.

Pastoral Prayer 

Pastoral Prayer Ministry is available for those who would like to meet for private prayer with a couple of appropriate people at a different time than a Sunday. Please contact Mary Anthony, our Pastoral Care Co-ordinator at pastoral@stjohnscolchester.org.uk
