CAR PARK: Please note that due to building work for the new church hallthe church car park will be closed from 7th November for approximately three weeks. During this time you are encouraged to walk, use an alternative form of transport, or to lift-share, as there will be limited parking available.
For morning services there will be some parking available in St John's school, Clay Lane Grove, opposite the church.
There will be no parking available for Sunday@Six services, please be considerate to our neighbours when parking on the roads around the church.

DRIVING: St John's is located close to the A1232 Ipswich Road, which links the A12 with the eastern side of Colchester's town centre.
From the A12: If you are approaching via the A12 please use Junction 29, signposted Colchester North and follow signs for the Town Centre.
You should come to a traffic light controlled junction near several car dealerships, continue straight on and you will shortly pass the church on your left.
At the Rovers Tye roundabout turn left into St John's Road, then take the second left into St John's Close, the church is at the far end of this road. There is a car park to the rear of the building.
From Central Colchester: If you are approaching from central Colchester, head for the Ipswich Road, signposted Ipswich (A12) from most areas.
Continue up Ipswich Road towards the A12 until you reach the Rovers Tye roundabout.
At the roundabout turn right into St John's Road, then take the second left into St John's Close, the church is at the far end of this road. There is a car park to the rear of the building.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: St John's Church is served predominantly by the no. 2 bus (2C on Sundays), but is also close to stops for the nos. 11 (weekday morning and evenings only), 93 (not Sundays) and 93A (not Sundays) and is a short walk from stops for the nos. 8 (not Sundays) and 65.

TRAIN: The nearest railway station to St John's Church is Colchester's main station, Colchester North. From here you will need to take either a taxi or a bus (2, 2C or 65) to the church.
