Are you retired and enjoy meeting new friends over a nice meal? Then you may be interested in coming along to the St John's Church Evergreen Lunch Club.
We have been running for the past 20 years and meet at St John's Church on the second Thursday of each month (excluding August).
Our guests enjoy chatting together and eating a freshly cooked meal, followed by tea or coffee, which is served by the children from the local St John's Primary School. The cost of the meal is £2.50 per person. Door to door transport is available for any that have the need. The Lunch Club welcomes anyone of 70 years + in the parish and we have enjoyed building many few friendships over the years.
